As somebody that spends most of his time in the openSUSE/OpenBuildService world, and is only incidentally one that interacts with Fedora/Koji/Bodhi/Whatever (although that does seem to be happening more), I can certainly say that I’m not sure I get the benefit of reinventing the wheel here.
I definitely prefer OpenBuildService to the current packaging workflow for Fedora, but I’m probably not the right guy to really ask about all the technical issues on the backend, or what “Issues konflux is trying to fix” that OpenBuildService doesn’t basically already address, other than being something developed elsewhere than Fedora/Red Hat.
