I have been using Fedora for quite some time now, Cinnamon desktop, upgrading using dnf-system-upgrade.
For the first time in several years, the keyboard layouts weren’t preserved on upgrade.
That’s a relatively minor issue, the bigger issue the keyboard shortcut for layour switching in F44.
I’m used to using shift+caps as switcher. This worked fine until 44. In 44, it also turns caps on, which never happened in earlier versions when used with shift. Now I have to hit capslock after switching, to turn it off.
Is there some configuration or option to only set capslock on when pressed on its own, as it behaved previously?
Just a quick question. Are you using a custom grub or something like that?
Not to my knowledge.
