Given you do not show Canada as English, for Rawhide testing, you allow me USA English.
USA English means that my dates, and other items, are not Metric.
USA date has different sequence of fields Y,M,D than does Canadian used Sequence.
Second, default paper size is A4 metric, because you have Canada as doing metric, but Canada uses USA letter size. I manually make the change
I use the Candian French Layout for keyboard as I live in Quebec. No issue with Keyboard layout.
