Kernel 6.6+ update-> no sound from speakers on Lenovo Legion 7 16ACHg6

Good day.

I’ve installed Fedora 39 (Gnome) recently and at first everything was working fine. However, after updating my system (specifically kernel) I noticed that my laptop’s speakers stopped working.

Kernel 6.5 - > speakers work fine
Kernel 6.6+ → speakers don’t work

I think it is about new Kernel new drivers …

Unfortunately Realtek and Nvidia users are not blessed with an upgrade of a Kernel. At least as long as the drivers not come with it.

Fallback to an older Kernel should work, right?

Yes that’s what I did… I wish I could keep the latest kernel and make it work somehow though…

Have had the same issue. Seems to be fixed running 6.7.4-200.fc39.x86_64
