KDE System Monitor reads 0% GPU Usage

Hello guys

not long ago ive reinstalled Fedora 43 KDE Plasma (Wayland), installed nvidia drivers, used LACT for undervolting (installed daemon service etc) and what i realised is, LACT perfectly reads my specs GPU usage etc but the KDE System Monitor and Steam always says 0% GPU Usage 0MB VRAM used.
does it need additional daemon service ?
the problem is something else ?

PC Specs :

i5-12400F
RTX 3070
32GB RAM
GIGABYTE H610M 2SH DDR4 Rev 1.2 BIOS F32
Fedora 43, fully updated Kernel 6.18.6

You may need to install the xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-cuda package if you haven’t already, so that the KDE system monitor can use the nvidia-smi CLI.

See this recent topic:

it fixed it, ty so much :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Now i have the same issue just with CPU Clock speed xD

That one shouldn’t depend on any additional packages.

What happens if you run:

grep "cpu MHz" /proc/cpuinfo

Than it reads the speeds, but system monitor says constant 3,6GHz no matter the load (wich isnt true afaik)
steam overlay says 0MHz
when i run sensors it says ID name and temps correctly aswell
CPU-X reads clock speeds well aswell (tho it uses daemon)

on EndaveourOS (Arch) and Nobara (Fedora/RHEL) both with KDE worked perfectly, now using normal Fedora it dosnt.

I can’t replicate this on my setup, I get variable speeds per core:

Which sensors have you set up in your visualisation? Is it the “Core X Current Frequency”?

I’m using an AMD 5700X, it may be named differently on different hardware.

now im as confused as you are cus 4GHz is correct
but than even more strange that steam overlay dosnt work
