I’ve two EVO 870 SSDs, and this is the new one, just bought yesterday. I check SMART info both of them by CrystalDiskInfo v9.6. They’re all good, no warning or error reported. But same error occurred on the old one.
So, I tried Disks for Gnome, and formatted both of them successfully, without warning or error reported.
If there is any error blocked KDE PM, it should report error in details but just one word Error
.
Other info maybe helpful to debug:
- PC: HP Z840
- OS: F42 KDE, all packages updated.
- SSD: Samsum 870 EVO 2T, SATA, connected to LSI 2308 SATA port, no volume created for these 870 two disks.
