KDE: How to change the padding of the dock

Since upgrading to Plasma 6.7, my Digital Clock has been unreasonably small - which seems to be because it cannot be bigger than this “padding”. Now, this is a new bug - I like having my dock on the left of my screen rather then the bottom, where it works fine.

Even setting it manually, it doesn’t work because "size may be reduced if the panel is not thick enough.

It is so obnoxiously small compared to the rest of the dock I have to either squint to see it, or hover over it for 2 seconds.

Would anyone know how I can fix this? I’m acquainted with the terminal. Thanks.

This is probably caused by the “Margin Separator” element, which separates the section with a margin from the one without (appropriately named ). It should be the line element in your screenshot, try removing that from the panel.

This was it! Thanks for the quick support. My digital clock is still puny, but less puny then it was beforehand. I’m going to mark this as the solution. :classic_smiley:
