My installation of Fedora KDE has been having a recurring issue of the desktop hanging soon after login. First, ddcutil was the cause of the problem, and that got fixed when the version was rolled back. Now it seems that iwlwifi is causing the same problem, or a similar one.
The specific errors that seem to show up in the logs is “Failed to fill region header id=16, type=2,” “Failed to get monitor header,” and “Failed to start RT ucode -110.” There are also earlier errors about failing to “flush,” and “HW error, resetting before reading.”
My system is a Framework Laptop 13 using the Intel AX210 wifi chip and running KDE Plasma 6.6.3, Linux kernel version 6.13.9-200.fc41.x86_64, and Fedora version 43.
