Issues with mediatek mt 7921

Im using HP Victus and im a beginner to fedora Linux , when i installed fedora 42 everything felt fine , but when i tried to connect it to my college Wi-Fi it refused to connect and kept on asking for the username and password again and again . can you guys please help me .
Wi-Fi properties

  • Mt - 7921 (NIC)
  • College wifi type - (PEAP) with no CA certificate required
  • College wifi supported speed (5Ghz)

Try connecting to the WiFi while you have sudo journalctl -f running in a terminal window. You might see some (hopefully informative) error messages scroll by when the connection attempt fails. Use Ctrl+C to stop the logging and then you can scroll up to review the error message(s).
