Is the "Top" link on the top menu useful?

See https://discussion.fedoraproject.org/t/does-anyone-find-the-active-menu-item-formerly-top-useful/66075, where we decided “no, it’s not”. But that site also has voting enabled, which makes the menu more cluttered (and “Top” vs “Top-Voted” is extra confusing).

If we remove this from the top menu, you can still find it in the ☰ hamburger menu at the top right of the page if you’re interested in a view of the most active posts by week, month, or year. Should it remain on the top menu as well, or should it go?

And, either way, should I rename it to “Active” as we did on the Ask site?

  • Yes, remove it from the top menu when the poll closes.
  • No, please keep it in the top menu.
  • I do not care.

  • Rename “Top” to “Active” to match Ask.
  • Leave it as “Top” to match other Discourse sites.
  • I do not care.

I pinned this topic globally until the day the poll ends to get wider visibility on this proposed change.

Looks like the jury is in.
