i disagree with your view and your “observations”. there’s no gatekeeping—have you had an issue where you “haven’t been allowed in”? Otherwise, this is not OK to say, as you are not being excellent to the community in general.

Some people who try to contribute do genuinely experience a sense of pushback and not being welcome, though (recent example post). Discussing that honestly here is something that should be OK to do.
