My friend uses a macbook and noticed that it has increased contrast. Can I also change the contrast on fedora 40?

Does your friend use the same theme as before? Which Fedora version does he use and with which theme?

That might be the case your friend uses MacBook that has difrent screen and that makes colors and contrast much better and vibrant I have similar when I use my oled 4K screen on laptop it is so nice and vibrant and when I use 1080p or 1440p screens there just full and oversaturated… Example MacBook uses retina IPS screens with usually 2560*1600 resolution and pixel intensity is larger that makes contrast and picture quality so vibrant

It depends on the monitor. However the program gddccontrol from the ddccontrol-gtk package may be able to adjust various settings of the monitor.
