Is https://pagure.io/fedora-packages-static the place where packages website is maintained?

I wanted to checkout the website issues for feature requests, wanted to discuss about the implementation of opensearch1 into the website.

But the website has a banner redirecting us to https://forge.fedoraproject.org/ and the Making sure you're not a bot! repo doesn’t seem to be active, the issues don’t have any activity and discussion.
the last commit was ~1 year ago.

I tried finding the same repo on forge.fedoraproject.org but I can’t seem to find the repo.

is there any other hosting platform where the codebase is or is pagure the right place for opening issues and having discussions about it ?

ps: I am a bit new to linux, so I apologize in advance if I made a mistake

I’m not sure exactly which website you are asking about, but the “main” Fedora Project website codebase is here: Fedora / Fedora Websites and Apps / Fedora Websites / fedora-websites-3.0 · GitLab ( currently :slightly_smiling_face: )

I am referring to the repo for https://packages.fedoraproject.org/
I want to ask if https://pagure.io/fedora-packages-static is the right repo for it since it appears to be inactive.

It does look like that is the URL that is being used to build the website:

FWIW, it looks like there is an old blog post about that site here:

I see, thank you very much for your time.
I will proceed to open another issue on pagure.io itself.

IIUC, that repo should be moved to the new Fedora Forge:

You might ask about it here:

Yes, it’s a pretty undermaintained application, but that is currently
the right place.

Yes, I’ll go see if we can move it to forge.

I could also help moving it in any way I can as I find myself using it every now and then.
I am new to the fedora community so I am unsure how exactly I can help with it.

well, it turns out that I am not an admin of that pagure.io repo either.

So, I filed a ticket:

if I don’t hear back next week I will look at just mirroring it over or
something.

This app could definitely use some help!

What sort of help I guess depends on what you are willing/able to do.
Just checking through issues and seeing what is still there up to
working on pull requests to fix things would be great.
