The computer is not exactly that bar but its not a powerhouse
It is a Lenovo ThinkPad x250

The CPU Seems fine and I think GPU will be OK.
The 4GiB of RAM will limit what you can run, is it upgradable?

You can test using the live USB image, no need to install anything.

Try one of the lighter spins.

XFCE, for example, runs on a potato. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Yes, but the graphics might be a bit laggy.
If you want a smoother (but mote difficult to learn) experience, use a Window Manager such as SwayWM.
