Internal laptop monitor goes to black at log-in on Kinoite

Hi,
just like in this thread: kde display problem after upgrading fedora 43 to fedora 44 I also have this issue.
I use Kinoite and it works fine on the system which I installed (44.1.7) but after upgrading both system and programs to 44.202609.13.0, the laptop screen goes to black during (after?) log-in while the HDMI connected external monitor works fine.
I did a rollback to the original system and this works fine, only do I get the updates available icon (upwards arrow) in the system tray and clicking on it a pop-up says the system will reboot in 30 seconds.
I have then deleted the updated deployment. This means I can not see what has been updated and to which version, so it is impossible for me to say what might cause this issue.

Is this with an AMD GPU?

If so then potentially the same issue as on Silverblue 20260913.

From other reports I’d suspect it’s an amdgpu driver issue in recent kernels.

It is indeed an AMD GPU with which I also have the artifacts problems while watching Youtube video’s. I see in the Silverblue link it is already reported and hopefully worked upon.
Thanks.

My best guess on reading the bug reports linked to from the thread you linked, is that we are talking about two different (likely unrelated) amdgpu driver issues in recent kernels. I think the problem I have, which I’m confident is the same problem in the first thread you linked to mine, and maybe is the same problem as this thread (not enough info here to know) all are NOT the same issue that “upstream” is already working on from those bug reports.
