Intel and Nvidia rendering in KDE Plazma 42 beta (Wayland)

Hi all,

I’m struggling to switch from Intel Ark to to Nvidia rtx 4060 on Asus N6505.
GPU is installed and ready to go, but doesn’t switch. Tried GUI rendering apps, terminal you name it, spend hours and just about to give up…
I read somewhere that rendering is not possible on Wayland desktop. is that the case???
Keep in mind fairly new to linux, so please keep it ‘simple’ .
Appreciate anyone help!

Did you install the RPMfusion nvidia drivers?
If not you will need to do so to get Wayland support.

See Howto/NVIDIA - RPM Fusion and make sure you read the section on support for secure boot.

Yes, all installed Barry. Just ran everything again to double check.
FYI secure boot is OFF.

is it possible that my laptop/GPU too new? Just need to wait for better support on Wayland?
