From the metasploit site I see the following.
Linux manual installation
Linux packages are built nightly for .deb (i386, amd64, armhf, arm64) and .rpm (64-bit x86) systems. Debian/Ubuntu packages are available at https://apt.metasploit.com and CentOS/Redhat/Fedora packages are located at https://rpm.metasploit.com.
And clicking on the link for the fedora rpm package allows one to download it and then it can be installed as a local package using dnf. I did not actually complete the installation but it appears it will work on either f42 or f43. You may need to add the --no-gpgchecks or --nogpgcheck option to the dnf command line.
F43 requires using a different method:
