Installing Deepin desktop using Everything DVD (netinst) software selection resulted in dependency error

I tried to install Deepin desktop with the netinst DVD (Fedora-Everything-netinst-x86_64-42-1.1.iso) but it immediately returned error “Error checking software dependencies”. The following error message is given:

This is likely caused by an error with your installation source.

Does this mean Deepin desktop is currently not installable on Fedora 42?

I believe deepin is totally unmaintained in fedora.

I notice that deepin has been removed from comps-f43.xml, so it won’t be available in the Fedora 43 netinstaller.

Seems so. It seems the file manager has been FTBFS for a long time after checking the package info

This problem can happen to me. Fedora and Deepin provide ease of use. It is cheerful, modern and stylish. While Deepin 25 does not work perfectly even with its own iso file in the desktop environment, I do not find it strange that it cannot be installed in Fedora. But I swear it is everyone’s dream. We want to use a Fedora like Openeuler.

Deepin is so bad that it is unusable in every sense, so why don’t we make a deepin theme for gnome?

I really don’t like the pantheon interface, I hope it gets fixed in Fedora Deepin 25 Spin.

If Blur My Shell plugin can manage to customize other plugins, no one will choose Deepin Swamp for sure.
