Hi! I’m trying to install Fedora 44 KDE on a virtual machine but whenever I try to modify the units in the storage editor, the installer crashes. Is this a know bug? Can I debug it anyway?
The VM and its disk are completely new, and I have not configured anything special. The ISO I’m using is the latest one, Fedora-KDE-Desktop-Live-44-1.7.x86_64.iso.
Did you do a checksum test to see if the download went well? On the same page where you found the iso you can also download the checksum for that iso. Put that file in the same folder as the iso.
Use sha256 -c <iso file name> in a terminal (without the <> signs) If the result is good and installing still doesn’t work then you can try this. It’s something people recommend lately.
You can download the Fedora Everything iso from here: Fedora Everything
Next to the download symbol you find the check for it, use it before you use the iso to install Fedora.
