I just created my Fedora Wiki page... now what?

Quick question: I just created my Fedora Wiki entry page… what now?
(I understand I get a badge for that)

Nothing else is required. The wiki user page is a profile page of sorts. It is a helpful place to showcase what you do in Fedora or to help other folks get to know you and your work. There are a few web apps that link to the user’s wiki page (although they are not linked to as often nowadays).

In the past, this was usually a quick award when a user edited the page. I’m not sure how performant the query is today though. I would give it 24 hours and if nothing after that, it might need an investigation as to whether wiki badges are working at all.

Me too … in 2021… wen I started here. In the end I was using it to make me notes how I can tune fedora after a new Fedora installation.

Ups, it is offline, might been updated to the new look of fedora.
Issue #11349: Planned Outage - wiki upgrade - 2023-05-31 21:00 UTC - fedora-infrastructure - Pagure.io

AFAIK, this particular badge is currently not working. There are a few
badges mentioned on
https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/fedora-join/welcome/badges/ with
instructions on how to get them. Unfortunately the majority of the
mentioned badges is currently not working.

Maybe we need to put a warning on this page. I can literally see the
disappointment on people’s faces having followed the instructions, but
not receiving mentioned badges.
