i never heard about the libheif ffmpeg, are you still on fedora 44?
just in case, if you want help in español, ahi esta la section of the forum
you could remove it, and add it again, ffmpeg is used by a couple of apps like vlc and other video players and video editors iirc
i found this other post complaining in a different way about libheif
Hello,
Is it a known issue? Although not mentioned is it something related to RPM Fusion?
Part of the sudo dnf upgrade --refresh output:
Repositories loaded.
Problem: cannot install the best update candidate for package libheif-1.21.2-1.fc44.x86_64
- package libheif-ffmpeg-1.23.4-6.fc44.x86_64 from updates requires libheif(x86-64) = 1.23.4-6.fc44, but none of the providers can be installed
- installed package libheif-freeworld-1.21.2-3.fc44.x86_64 requires libheif(x86-64) = 1.21.2, but no…
not sure if is related directly because it is a different version of it

Screenshots aren’t really copying from a terminal, and they are really not great for indexing the contents or people using screen readers. Please consider copying actual text and putting it in your post as pre-formatted text (the </> button) next time.
Anyways, I do not have to use a screenreader, so I could see the libheif message in your image. I guess the question you are asking is how to fix the error.
There have been two recent threads about this:
I am on a fedora 44 system in QubesOS and when attempting to perform the normal update process via the automatic updater I get the following errors:

Hi, I had the same problem and “dnf rm libheif-freeworld” fixed it for me.

Thank you. This worked for me as well. I was about to make a thread about this very same problem.

The update to libheif-freeworld is now available, so those who have removed it can reinstall it.
it was an issue with the package not being properly synced in the repos i believe. If you update now it will work fine and you wont have a package conflict.
