I see a somewhat old report about power management issues with that card:
Maybe it is a regression. Does is work if you turn off power saving for that audio card? Try creating a mysound.conf file under /etc/modprobe.d that contains the following line and then reboot your PC.
options snd_hda_intel power_save=0
