I failed to update my Microsoft UEFI dbx

I could’nt update my Microsoft UEFI dbx.The error message is"failed to write firmware: failed to write data to efivarsfs: Error writing file descriptor: Invalid argument".

My computer:

Operating System: Fedora Linux 42

KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.2

KDE Frameworks Version: 6.20.0

Qt Version: 6.9.3

Kernel Version: 6.17.8-200.fc42.x86_64 (64-bit)

Graphics Platform: Wayland

Processors: 12 × 12th Gen Intel® Core™ i5-12490F

Memory: 32 GiB of RAM (31.1 GiB usable)

Graphics Processor: Intel® Arc

I assume you mean you use the fwupdmgr method of updating the firmware.

Also assuming you ran the upgrade as root user (via sudo) then
you likely need to use a manual upgrade process that will documented by ASUS for you hardwware.

Edit: and its not necessary to have that update to keep running linux.
It is a nice to have update.
