I can't login to my fedoraproject account, please help!

I’m trying to login to my fedoraproject account, and it won’t let me. My account is platinumlucario and I’ve lost my OTP token.

I tried to contact admin@fedoraproject.org, but all I got was this:

I don’t understand… Why?!

Is there anything that can be done? I didn’t want to create this temporary account just to request for help, but I had no choice…

Please, help me! I need to get back into my platinumlucario account.

If we tag the post with infrastructure-team the lovely chaps should see it in the next 24 hours.

Please check the last line of your screenshot. It says what the problem is: Recipient address rejected.

In other words you should have used the email you registered with (hotmail).

Can you please check on accounts.fedoraproject.org about: (with the old account)

Forgot Password or OTP? | Sync Token

If you get errors from there they would be important. Please remove the screenshot part which shows your alternative email.

OP isn’t getting that error when trying to log into the account.

They get the error when they’re trying to contact “admin[@]fedoraproject[.]org” to report the issue.

Looks like the problem is that the fedoraproject[.]org mail server tries to forward the mail to “aurelien[@]bompard[.]org” but that mail address can’t be reached for some reason.

I guess someone should look at that issue, but it’s not directly related to OP’s login failure.

yes … I try to find the new place to make a ticket for infra.

Hi, I’m from Fedora infra and your e-mail correctly landed in admin@fedoraproject.org inbox. It just wasn’t forwarded to one member of the alias.

Let me continue the conversation in e-mail.

Ah I see, so that’s why it bounced back earlier, makes sense.

Anyways,

Thank you so much for the help, I’m back into my account once again.
