I’m new to Linux, and I’m trying to dual boot Windows 11 and Fedora. But when I try to do it, it stops with this message(image that I attached at the top). What is the problem? I tried once with BalanaEtcher, another time with Fedora Media Writer that I found on the official Fedora website, and they both showed same message.
This is a known issue with Fedora bootable USBs; fails exactly at 4.8%, you can ignore it.
It seems to be caused by Windows accessing the bootable USB, e.g. if you prepare it with BalenaEtcher on Windows. If you prepare the USB on macOS or Linux, and don’t let Windows touch it, the test should pass.
