I can't click in my main virtual destkop in KDE

Hi there!

I’m using Fedora 44 KDE in a pc with an Nvidia RTX 2060 super and an AMD Ryzen 4750G CPU, and today I run into a problem. In my desktop computer, I can’t click on my main virtual desktop. If I click. or right click, nothing happens, no file or folder is selected, no context menu appears and apps lost focus and can not be selected using the mouse on this desktop as if they were ignored and I can’t click on them. If I move to a second virtual desktop, it works perfectly fine. I don’t know if I’ve unadvertedly modified or clicked anything that has modified the desktop behaviour because my laptop works perfectly well with the same distro (AMD Ryzen 5700U)

Could it be this?

If so, the workaround (until the bugfix hits Fedora) is described in post 3 there - look for an empty second panel and remove it.

Yes, thanks a lot. It’s the exact same issue. I’ve discovered that just entering edit mode solves the problem for that session. (I don’t have an extra panel displayed). It’s a workaround.
