Is there a bullet proof guide for howdy ?

I found this a bit confusing, just to make sure what i have understood, the issue is

You tried to use GitHub - boltgolt/howdy: 🛡️ Windows Hello™ style facial authentication for Linux · GitHub, it got misconfigured and you were locked out i.e not able to login? And you are asking how to configure it so that this misconfiguration thing does not happen again?

I see in their github that its really unmaintained, last commit being a year ago—so not the best option to use it.

I know a alternative to it GitHub - GunduLabs/gaze: Facial authentication for Linux · GitHub, i used it for a few days and faced not much issue in that.

Thanks alot . Works for now.
If problems happen later after restart I will post.
