How to set limit battery on fedora silverblue 39?

I created systemd files and touch change_battery_end_threshold on BAT1 but i can’t edit that files on BAT1 even I changed permissons, login as root, alt + F2 → nautilus, sudoedit, nothing can edit that files. I am using silverblue with amd cpu, gpu, msi laptop.

host@fedora ~> ls /sys/class/power_supply/BAT1/charge_control_end_threshold
ls: cannot access ‘/sys/class/power_supply/BAT1/charge_control_end_threshold’: No such file or directory
host@fedora ~ [2]> ls /sys/class/power_supply

There’s nothing different about Silverblue here.

What do you see in /sys/class/power_supply/BAT1/ ?

Maybe this feature isn’t supported for your battery.

Is there anyway to force set battery threshold if itsn’t supported?

I have no idea; I don’t know if that’s even possible.

You didn’t answer my question though. BAT1 apparently exists. What does it contain? That might provide a hint.

Sr for my carelessness

We must ask that you always (as much as humanly possible) use the </> button and post preformatted text that you copy & paste from your screen. Images are not searchable, not quotable, and cannot be seen by anyone not explicitly reading the post containing the image.

It’s likely that your BAT1 doesn’t support battery charge start/stop treshold feature
