From an X session, DConf values for the gdm account can be set (using, e.g., gsettings) by issuing the command xhost +si:localuser:gdm before logging in to the gdm account. However, the xhost command cannot be run from a Wayland session, and without it, none of gsettings, dconf, or gdbus works. Is there any way to set the values for GDM from a Wayland session?
