Hey guys, with the new Login Manager in Plasma 6.7 there is no way to actually edit any qml files to achive this. Basically the ui of the login screen fades out after 30 seconds. How do I prevent this?
You mean the field that you enter the password fades away?
I see that and just tap shift to get it back.
I could not see a setting in the GUI that would change this.
I suspect you need to ask over on https://discuss.kde.org/ if this is possible.
If you do not want to step back to sddm
there is a ‘suboptimal’ workaround:
sudo dnf in cosmic-greeter # with its cca 235 MB dependencies (?)
systemctl disable plasmalogin
systemctl enable cosmic-greeter
Reboot and select Plasma session
