How to migrate the full ssd?

It seems I have a slowly dying ssd that I need to replace with a bigger one ssd. What tool can aid me painlessly mirroring the full setup, and can go inside and stays bootable in my laptop?

TIA

Once the new SSD is available it is quite possible to transfer the data from one to the other. The dd command is useful for that when booted from a live usb media and having both drives accessible at the same time.
Copy the data from one to the other, then immediately swap the drives. Do not attempt to boot with both drives (that would now appear with the same identifying data) connected.

The only remaining step would be the need to expand the partitions to fill the extra unused space in the newer and larger drive.
