How to disable bluetooth adapter

Hello !

I’m using an old Dell Inspiron 14, the bluetooth adapter isn’t working well with my headphones. I have an USB adapter that works fine, the problem is that I can’t really manage two adapters at once on the Gnome configuration.

Is there a way to disable the integrated one entirely and use only the usb adapter ?

Hi,

You may be able to disable the internal bluetooth via the bios.

Thank Tom.

Found the solution, I didn’t know what udev was. Basically like the Device Manager on Windows, I supose.

Solution:

SUBSYSTEM=="usb", ATTRS{idVendor}=="0a5c", ATTRS{idProduct}=="21b4", ATTR{authorized}="0"
