Many times if I need to go to the terminal it would be very useful to be able to use mouse. I know it used to be possible by running ‘gpm’ service, but I don’t think it exists in F36 any more.
Any suggestions?
It is available. Just run dnf install gpm
if it is not already installed. and then run systemctl enable gpm
if it is not automatically enabled.
[root@newbox ~]# dnf list gpm

And sudo systemctl start gpm
if you want to start without reboot.

Thanks @vekruse ,
I don’t have it installed. I assumed Fedora replaced it with some other program.
