How should I resize LVM?

,

I used KDE partition manager to shrink file systems on the LVM. There is now unallocated space.

Now I try to resize the volume group but everything in the window is disabled.

# pvscan

What is preventing the resizing and what should I do to shrink the volume group to match the new filesystems’ sizes?

This should fix the warning:

sudo pvresize /dev/sdc3

Ok, it will fix the warning. But will it also enable the resizing?

If the issue persists, we will continue troubleshooting with more comprehensive diagnostics.
