How should I install an element client?

It seems that I should use a flatpak for element.
Is that right?

I’m presented with this and as I’m not flatpak trained so do not know what to pick.

$ flatpak install element

It’s available as a snap, but there’s also nheko which is in the usual repos.

It’s also on flathub though:

I’ll try the nheko rpm, rather not bother with snap world.

Unfortunately, the name Element isn’t in the ID of the Flatpak. If you search for it on flathub.org, you will find it under the ID im.riot.Riot. The drop-down arrow next to the download button then gives you this install command:

$ flatpak install flathub im.riot.Riot

Thanks for the clue. I have the nheko RPM installed and working.
Unless that client disapoints I’ll stick with it.

I have element.app on the macOS and can also use the web client.
