How do I safely go from Silverblue 42 to Kionite 43?

Hi,

I vaguely understand it can be done safely whenever but is it still true when going from one version to the other ?

Like can I simply go trought the upgrade process and pick Kionite instead of Silverblue ?
Or should I first upgrade to Silverblue 43 and then rebase to Kionite 43 ?

Anything else I should know ?

So I gather there is nothing specific I should be aware of ?
I should just go through a normal upgrade process and pick Kionite instead of Silverblue.

correct.

here is the guide (under section Rebasing using terminal).
How to rebase to Fedora Linux 43 on Silverblue - Fedora Magazine

In the last step, just replace silverblue with kinoite

rpm-ostree rebase fedora:fedora/43/x86_64/kinoite

Update: I did the migration yesterday and didn’t run into any issues ! Thank you
