I’ve recently install Fedora 32 on my Lenovo Yoga Chromebook and the sound, microphone and touchscreen don’t work at all. I’ve done some research and it looks like the drivers for the hardware in this model simply aren’t supported in the kernel. I filled in a bug for the kernel here
My question is what else can I do to request that it gets supported? And how does the process of hardware getting supported work? Are there driver request pages anywhere or would it be possible to make a request as part of Fedora’s new partnership with Lenovo?
To update, Fedora 33 does not fix the issue, I’ve asked on both Redhat and Linux Kernel bug trackers and the Linux Kernel team say it should come from the distro and have had no response from the bug tracker on RedHat big tracker
