I have an old Logitech QuickCam Express.
It “functions” in OBS in that I can see the picture of myself, but it does seem to lag a bit in the video.
What I’m more interested in is getting it to show up in Zoom or Cheese. These programs don’t detect that it is there, even though OBS clearly sees it and can grab an image from it.
I’m guessing that OBS has its own system for detecting video sources, and Zoom and Cheese are depending on the kernel to have a driver for it. I found the following instructions for installed the kernel driver qc-usb which is supposed to support it, but it references kernels 2.4 and 2.6.

I’m guessing things might have changed from the kernel 2.# days. I wanted to ask here before I possibly messed up my Fedora 32 kernel install by following the above directions. If you have any ideas on how to get this old webcam working in the latest Fedora I would appreciate it. Thanks.
