HDMI Port not detected f36

So I have recently gotten into fedora in my new ASUS laptop and I have ran into some issues while trying to connect the laptop’s HDMI port to an external second monitor.
The computer has an AMD CPU and GPU (Ryzen 7 6800HS and a Radeon RX 6700S), and for some reason whenever i runxrandr -q it does not list the HDMI port as it being there, whether the cable is plugged in or not:

Has anyone ran into the same issues?

Another weird behaviour that I just discovered is that if I plug in the HDMI cable before turning on the PC the grub boot menu simply won’t show up, and the machine will be frozen with a black screen
