There is not enough info here to even guess at the issue. Please add the details about what you are trying to do and what is going wrong so we have an idea about what you may be seeing.
Please provide more details. I’m guessing you are using Fedora MediaWriter, but you don’t mention the system you used to run MediaWriter. For Windows, see https://github.com/FedoraQt/MediaWriter/issues/148 for other reports and workarounds. I find Ventoy useful as it boots directly from the .iso image file and can have multiple images on one USB flash drive.
I was trying to install Fedora Workstation 44 on my PC, which was running Windows 11, using Fedora Media Writer.
At first, the download was taking a little longer than expected, so I thought there might be some problem. Therefore, I canceled the process. Then I noticed that I could no longer open or access the USB flash drive properly from Windows. Since I was new to Fedora and Fedora Media Writer, I did not know that the USB drive could be fixed from Media Writer itself.
So, I used CMD and DiskPart in Windows to clean the USB drive and create the partition again. After that, I tried using Rufus in both ISO mode and DD mode.
In ISO mode, the boot menu showed “Image Load Failed.” When I used DD mode, the USB flash drive did not appear in the boot menu at all.
Later, I tried Fedora Media Writer again. The download completed successfully, and the writing process also completed, but it got stuck at the “Checking the written data” step. It makes a little progress and then hangs there permanently.
I have tried cleaning the USB drive several times using DiskPart and then creating the bootable USB again, but I get the same result every time.

Is the hang occurring when booting the usb after creation? If so this might apply.
The install often hangs as you noted when users are booting and use the option to check the media during installation. This topic applies and gives the solution.
In short, do not use the media check option, but instead boot directly into fedora. You may (but often do not) need to rewrite the iso to the usb device.
If media writer is hanging while verifying the iso after writing the usb completes this may apply.
If media writer is hanging then the solution I have found is normally to simply download the iso. Verify it is valid using the provided checksum. Then use media writer to put the image onto the usb, instead of using media writer to download and write the usb in a single step.
This could also be a symptom of a failing usb device.

I have already tried this method:

However, my USB drive is brand new. I can copy and store other files on it without any problem. So how could the USB drive be faulty?
Windows cannot open nor access a drive that uses a linux file system or, in your case, partially written but not completed. When you canceled the writing process from media writer the drive was left in an incomplete state.
My statement about failing usb device was a secondary possibility.
Using media writer to download and write the drive in one process usually takes at least twice as long as downloading the iso then writing it to the usb device in two steps.
You did not answer the question as to where the hang was occurring.
Media writer verifying the image on the usb device?
or
booting and using the check media option for the boot process?
Media writer takes a considerable time to verify the write (especially when download & write are done as one process) as it must check byte for byte the written data and compare it with the iso image.
I believe that when using media writer to download & write the iso to usb in a single step, the verification may also be trying to verify that the usb image matches the online iso image. That is subject to interference and can break the verification easily.
Downloading the iso first and verifying its integrity before writing it to the usb device eliminates the entire delay of the online download+write process as well as the online verification process.
Personally I have had trouble with media writer using the download+write process but never have had an issue with writing an already downloaded iso to a usb device.
