Handbrake.rpm

Does any know if the Handbrake.rpm is still being maintained?
It is several versions behind
It is version 1.6.1 and has not been updated in a year
The flatpak is on version 1.7.3 and was updated 2 months ago
I prefer the .rpm but if it is not maintained any more I guess I will have to regrettably use the flatpak

Added f39 and removed flatpak

rpmfusion shows it was rebuilt early April, so it appears to be supported.
Another very good and current repository you can take a look at is:

NEGATIVO17 IS NOT compatible with rpmfusion. That doesn’t mean you can’t install the occasional package from rpmfusion that isn’t available on negativo17 - but it does mean, you are on your own for tracking dependencies, etc…

Best way to handle this would be to limit what can be used from rpmfusion by using the
includepkgs= parameter in all of the rpmfusion repo files.

It is still using the 1.6.1 version
I wonder why they are not using the latest version
I guess I will just use the flatpak
Didn’t think to check rmpfusion so thanks for that memory jog

best to ask the maintainer of the package …

Building HandBrake

The process is not complicated, but there are some functions that do not work (in this case, the coding stops), so they have not been included in the final release yet.
