H.264 codec - Dragon Player

Hi, I have done some looking around buy can’t find exactly what I am looking for. I am getting this message on Dragon Player.

What is the best way to solve this. My videos play but I am sure they are less quality then they could be. I am sure this is a simple install of the codec but I just want to make sure so I am not installing a bunch of junk I don’t need. I am not real familiar with this world of Linux. BTW: I am using Fedora 42.

Thanks!

I suspect following these instructions will resolve that issue: https://rpmfusion.org/Howto/Multimedia

Ok, thanks for the info. I looked at it briefly. I will have to go back and figure out what it is doing. I don’t want to do something and not be able to revert back if needed.

Thanks!

I did all that but still get the message. But, I can use VLC and it works with no error messages and it looks good.

I don’t know, maybe just Dragon Player.

Thanks,
Chris
