Google-chrome-stable won't complete install via dnf upgrade --refresh due to "Copr repo" conflict

I think this is due to the two packages PyCharm and CoolerControl being “owned by” the authors and contributors of CoolerControl. It exists as a DKMS (Dynamic Kernel Module Support) right now on my system. So I think that’s why it locks down, or “owns” those two packages? But that leads to a conflict, so I cannot update Chrome.

I don’t want to override anything, yet, as I am afraid of breaking CoolerControl when it recompiles after every kernel update, and so far it has worked fine.

Fedora Linux 44 (Workstation Edition)

$ sudo dnf upgrade --refresh google-chrome-stable

But I am running google-chrome-stable now, which I installed via flathub, and I see google-chrome-stable automatically come up in the software update notifications, so I thought it’s all automatic. But I think only the download of the new version is automatic, and the update isn’t, likely because of this error during a background update run, perhaps.

I have enabled all the new repos in the GNOME Software app, as shown:

The flatpak version cannot be upgraded using the dnf command.
You update the flatpak with the flatpak upgrade command on the cli, or use software to update and it does both flatpak & dnf updates.

I do not use flatpak for google-chrome so the dnf command is appropriate for me.

The reason I switched to flatpak for chrome is because the RPM-based version kept crashing due to GPU-related page faults, so I thought the flatpak version may be more stable. But now it’s crashing in the same way, thus it’s a chrome problem, not a library incompatibility problem. I’m using a AMD Ryzen™ 5 9600X × 12 with integrated GPU, so the GPU isn’t a fancy new design either. I’ll switch back to RPM then, or switch to Firefox for the time being until Chrome is stable again.
