I have been using Fedora for 3 years and found it really powerful. I try to encourage my colleagues to use it but I noticed that most non-computer science guys are not comfortable with command lines.
I use GNU R and Julia for my daily work. Since GNU Octave can be installed from Software, why GNU R and Julia are not available in Software? If the two software are available in Software, it would be much easier for more people to use it.
