Hi,
A new 44.4 gnome has just been released. How do I update my current 44.3 to get the latest version?
As I understand it gnome 44.4 will be automatically included in the fedora 38 upgrades. In fact I see several gnome 44.4 packages already on my system.
This may be the case as I’ve been getting a bunch of updates every now and then. So perhaps the new gnome version will jump in without prior notice.
You can look at what is already there for 44.4 with dnf list installed gnome* | grep 44.4
Most packages seem to have been updated to 44.4 already.
Thanks!
The GNOME Version displayed on the About page in GNOME Settings depends on the gnome-shell package, and here it is:
