Gnome Touchpad requires one more finger to work after suspension (Dell Inspiron 14 5410 2-in-1)

I’m using Fedora with gnome on my Dell Inspiron 14 5410 2-in-1, and I’ve noticed a recurring issue with the touchpad after waking the laptop from suspension.

Usually:

I can move the cursor with one finger.

I can scroll using two fingers.

But after suspension:

It requires two fingers to move the cursor.

It requires three fingers to scroll.

Logging out temporarily fixes the issue, but it keeps happening after the laptop wakes from sleep.

Has anyone else experienced this, and is there a permanent fix? I’ve tried updating the system, but the problem persists. Any help would be appreciated.
