Hello all,
I am experiencing a weird bug with the built-in display configuration tool in F43 workstation. I have two monitors, and I am frequently switching my primary display to have certain programs launch correctly. The monitors are different resolutions, so simply swapping them wouldn’t work. However, when I switch my primary display in settings, it functionally does change the primary display, but the setting still states that it hasn’t switched. For example, if I switch the primary display from Display 1 to Display 2, Display 2 does become the primary, but the settings still indicate Display 1 is the primary. Checking ~/.config/monitors.xml show that the change is successful, but this poses an issue. Since Display 1 is still the primary in settings, it becomes impossible to actually set it as the primary, as there is no button to “Apply”. I either have to reboot to fix the issue, or set it on the command line. Is this a known bug or does it have any known fixes/workarounds? Additionally, I downgraded my gnome-control-center to fix the audio bug, but I don’t think that affects it, as the behavior persists in both versions.
Thank you,
CJR
