GNOME Files > Compress > Archive type - Broken GUI

Hello.
I compressed a file, but in the windows they come out cropped, as the images look.

It is an upgrade from f34 to f35, using the default theme, I created a new user, and the same thing happens, I deleted nautilus cache and there was no change.

I am currently using Fedora 35, with gnome 41.1.

Any ideas, thanks.

I have the same problem. But I’m using the dark theme.

I just tried it.

I clean installed Fedora 35 while trying to fix some driver issues. It’s working fine in my case on Wayland session.

Try running the Nautilus through terminal. See if that shows anything. If you’re on wayland the Try

GDB_BACKEND=x11 nautilus

See if it still exists with the Stock Adwaita theme.

Thanks, i will try

Now, i change the theme, and the problem persists

This also doesn’t help in my case.
I have not been able to reproduce the problem in my other fedora 35 installations yet.
There the menu just fis and is not cut-off.

What theme are you using? My compressed folders look like folders with a zipper on them, using Wayland and default Gnome filemanager (Nautilis). Looks like the following …

Just usual Adwaita-dark. Its the same with the default theme.

The only thing non-standard is the f34 background, that I like and reinstalled by the command dnf install f34-backgrounds-base, because dnf autoremove removed it in advance.

Looks like a bug, archives creation popup is cut in half (#2018) · Issues · GNOME / Files · GitLab
