GNOME calendar app not respecting temperature unit

Hello! I opened the GNOME Weather app and set the temperature unit to Celsius. In the app, the unit updates.

However, outside of the app, the units are still in F. GNOME Calendar and also the calendar in the desktop’s clock menu both show F units.

I checked gsettings directly and see this:

$ gsettings get org.gnome.GWeather4 temperature-unit
'default'

Is this expected? Default == “The user preferred temperature unit.” but…

The default is linked to your locale (Settings, System, Region/Language):

Please try to change and give feedback.

In my case I use as default US English and the other settings/formats for Brasil.
