I love Gnome, but there’s this one OCD thing that drives me crazy and it’s how the window ID title encroaches over the main toolbar (as seen below). Its so annoying and can prevent the toolbar icons from being clicked.
Does anyone else feel this way or have a solution?
Please explain how to get to the situation, you have shown in the screenshot.
Perhaps you are using some kind of GNOME extension?
I do not use any extensions and have never seen anything like that.

I have never seen the reported issue but apparently some do. It seems to have appeared with the release of gnome 40 and has persisted even thru the current gnome 50 version.
